Our Christmas Day clean was again a bigger success then we imagined!

33 people turned up or joined in on the spot to celebrate Christmas day by wearing a santa hat and grabbing some gloves and bags to help us clean the wild a beautiful An Bang Beach in Hoi An!

All the volunteers braved the rain and we had volunteers from Sustainable Space in Hoi An, members from the Hoi An cleaners group, tourists on holiday and passionate local volunteers!

It was a great morning spent laughing, dancing and singing songs and we even attracted the attention of the province print newspaper who spent A LOT of time interviewing me - and then we forgot to exchange details :S

Oh well! We filled 74 bags in 1.5 hours helping to remove 320 kg's including a MASSIVE stash of oil and petrol bottles which had been left on the sand.

Our next clean event is in Da Nang!
